Hello, I'm

Maya was found by one of our volunteers during a visit to feed the dogs in the forest. The forest is a common dumping ground for locals and the city shelters to leave and abandon dogs. Maya had an accident that caused her to lose one of her front paws. As a disabled dog, her chances of survival on the street was even smaller. When we found out about Maya, we asked the volunteer to transfer her to our trusted boarding facility in Istanbul.

Maya has received the veterinarian care she needed to help her injured leg. Unfortunately, the only option was amputation. Thanks to your donations, she was able to get the surgery she needed. Our girl Maya is now a tripawd, but she doesn't let that slow her down! She is a super friendly, happy girl and can't wait to find her forever home!
