Oscar was found by a volunteer on the streets - he was so friendly to everyone who passed him, begging "please take me home". She could tell he was a member of a family at one time and he missed his old days.
Oscar had wounds on his body that tell he was shot at with a pellet gun while living on the streets. Our volunteer received threats from locals that they were going to poison Oscar or the city would bring him to shelter, both terrible fates for any street dog.
When we heard about Oscar we transferred him to our safe and trusted boarding facility in Istanbul. Oscar is now safe off the street and looking for a family that will never give up on him again. Is that with you?
