This gentle girl was rescued from a government run shelter with a badly wounded front leg. What caused this painful wound remains a mystery but what we do know is that she was receiving no care or medical attention for it and we were not leaving there without her! Upon arrival to our care, the vets quickly assessed her and recommended amputation due to tissue and muscle necrosis. Roxy had her surgery in early August 2020 and it went great!! Thanks to your donations this smiley girl is now recovered and starting to live her new pain free life. She is adapting very well to being a tripawd! Roxy will do best in a home with little to no stairs, where she can continue to build her confidence and relax into loving arms.
